WE'RE BACK!

So this may have taken a little longer than expected and planned, but our new website is complete and live. This has been quite a project. Our goal was to downsize the website a lot and narrow the customer experience to minimal information and get the phone to ring and the inbox to light up. To test the theory, we took the entire website down for a few weeks. Sure, that's an awful strategy for most businesses, but we have a steady workload of projects and - to be blunt - we don't rank well in search engines.

That last part is a tough one to admit, but we have really never spent the time and effort into our own website to really press our own SEO. Quite frankly, we've always had enough customers and it seems to have worked itself out. This is mirrored by a conversation I had with a local business about SEO. This particular place ended up not being a customer of ours, but at the time of the conversation, had no website at all and only had a phone book ad. Fast forward a year to today, and that same business has a website, a marketing plan, and a new (larger) building.

The moral of the story here is that we were shortchanging ourselves, just like we tell our potential customers. Well, we are fixing that.

NEW PRODUCTS AND SERVICES!

In addition to this absolutely sexy new website, we have also rolled out some new products. That is a term I used to hate, but find these completely worthy now. Awesome things like Local Listings Pro, HootSuite Managed, Social Media Buildout, Report Manager, Web Hosting - and a fun new thing called a "QuickSite".

So if you're poking around the website, you'll notice that the background images are a little odd. Cool. If you're sharing these pages, you'll note that the OpenGraph images are bloody awesome. And by awesome, I mean like show a friend good.

ONE MORE THING

Most of our business has come from referrals from friends, family, and most importantly, customers. This means a ton. When you peruse our Our Work page for our portfolio of work done, please note that these aren't just customers to me. These are folks that I answer text messages from at 1am. Every launch matters.
